Sounion National Park: Hiking Trails [ updated ]

Sounion National Park was founded in 1974, has a core area of 750 hectares. It also has a regional zone extension of 2,750 hectares. The flora of the park includes many Greek endemics. More than 260 minerals have been discovered in the area, many of which are still unknown to science. Due to the existence of minerals, metal mining developed in ancient times. 

Chaos

The routes (Georoutes) in the National Park are hiking and cycling where we meet caves from the mines, the impressive Chaos and beautiful pine forests!
