Mount Oeta (Oiti): Hiking trail in waterfal

 

An enchanting hiking route awaits you on the path of Pharmakides, leading you to the two waterfalls of the Oiti National Park. The journey starts just outside the picturesque village of Ipati (see the map for the starting point) and promises an unforgettable experience in nature.

The trail is divided into two routes, each with its own special character. The first leads to the first waterfall, while the second leads to the second, equally impressive. Both routes are extremely beautiful, with lush vegetation, spectacular viewpoints and the serene presence of the river accompanying you for much of the way.

Nature is generous here: towering trees, ferns, and wild flora that change colours with the season, make up a landscape that captivates the senses. The rocks and waterfalls with their crystal clear waters are points of absolute beauty, while the sound of the water adds a unique harmony to the route.

The route to the first waterfall, although equally charming, requires more attention, especially during the winter and spring months. At these points, the trail becomes more challenging, with slippery surfaces that can make access difficult. For this reason, it is recommended that you are properly equipped and proceed with caution.
