Euboea (Evia): Hiking route in Dirfi - Trails - shelter

The route starts a few meters from the village of Steni Dirfyos (Special signage). Very beautiful route covering a large part of pine and fir forest. Special attention if you do the hike in the summer months where there is a certain uneven spot with rocks, (hint on the map) where high temperatures are likely to develop. The hiking route initially ends at the excellent shelter EOS Michalis Nikolaou 1.150m. Beautiful open space where it is possible to access by car. The point has spectacular views to the east side of the island but you can also climb the hill with the antennas for views to all parts of the island. The trail continues to Dirfi Peak 1743m.
